October Part One

Sometimes you just gotta cut your losses and forget about clothes!

All three of which ended up happening before we called stop on the activity!

Handy Helper

An overdue early October post ( almost 18 months).  There are a few things we do in the last minutes if the morning rush out of the door...one if which is filling up my water bottle for the ride to work.  This day I asked Zander if he was going to help mommy with her water and he walk over to his kitchen stand, pushed it over to the refrigerator and he was ready to complete the task as asked :)

And later that night on the phone.  For Hello, Zander says something to the effect of "how-on" - I wish we could record every single word from his little language and never forget what these sounds are like.

More September Fun

We keep hearing that it's time to transition from bottles, but mommy loves this...

Errr-pane!

One of Zander's favorite things to point out when we are outside are all of the many airplane's - he gets so excited and points to the sky and proclaims "errr-pane!"  He also notices the airplane's when we are inside and will stop what he is doig when he hears an airplane to tell us one is overhead.  

Aunt Paige, Uncle Chris and the boys sent Zander a big brother present, which was so sweet and so thoughtful - this awesome airplane and he loves riding it around the house...

And one morning, my cutie pie was insistent on taking his errr-pane to daycare :)

I mean, adorable...up until I had to tell him it couldn't go with us. 

Labor Day Weekend

We had a nice long Labor Day weekend before the busy month of September took off...we grocery shopped, celebrated Popaw Art's birthday, went to the pool with Gram & Pop-pop, and visited our new neighbors

It is definitely a vocabulary that mommy and daddy understand best!  Our little baby is growing up so fast and communicating with him is so fun!

Daycare Vacation

Daycare was closed the week of August 4th for vacation, so Zander had a fun week with Gram, mommy, and Aunt Holly  all filling in.  

Mommy & Z met Aunt Paige at the Willowsford beach for a fun picnic lunch and play on the sand volleyball court...we had to best time and these two little loves shared the stroller and their food at lunch time :)

Holly, Grace, and Lily totally made Zander's day on Thursday...he lit up so bright when the girls walked in our door that morning.  Aunt Holly took some super fun pictures of the kids at the pool and sent mommy & daddy updates throughout the day.

We went to a cook-out and Zander was obsessed with being included in the football throwing.  He kind of looks like a natural in these photos; daddy has strong feelings about Z liking a sport other than football & almost any sport other than football...time will tell.

Cousin Harper's 1st Birthday

We had so much fun at Harper's 1st birthday party...playing in all of the baby pools, eating spaghetti and watching Harper get down on some cake!!

One Saturday morning when Daddy had to work, Zander helped Mommy hang some long overdue items on the walls.

This little guy is a huge Wiggles fan thanks to Aunt Paige!!

Happy 4th of July!

We started off the day by packing up to go across the street to the charcoal grills and tables by the WSF lake, but when we got over there to meet out friends, it was so windy that we ended up back at our house for a cook-out..mommy still overpacks...this will probably happen forever :)

We attempted a family photo since it seems we always forget to take one and it seems we waited a little too long because all of our cook-out fun and avoidance of a nap had absolutely exhausted our little Wub's.

And later that day...a very special announcement was made!  Zander is going to be a big brother in January!!
