137. Carrots!!

136. The fight is over

After being back to work almost two months, my fight to not need to move the swing upstairs ended on Monday morning.  Zander usually takes a little cat nap from 730-800am every morning and I used to take him downstairs to the swing and then I would shuffle back and forth between mirrors downstairs and my bedroom to finish getting ready.  That battle has ended & it is likely that for the remaining 5lbs left before Z "outgrows" the swing, it will be in our bedroom :)

135. Exersaucing! Ridin free in da Bob

Saturday we picked Zander up an exersaucer...finally!  He tried it out in the store and it was clear he would be a fan.  Brad put it together for our boy before he headed out on Sunday.  

Later on in the day, I strapped Z into the stroller without his infant seat & he chilled outside with me while Brad mowed and momma pulled weeds. I mean, big things were happening at the Kosatka household this weekend.  Haha.

Finally, this little guy tries to hold his bottle.  It so darn cute.  He had just woken up here and was seriously ready to eat, hence the focused face :)

134. Celebrating Papaw Art's Birthday

Saturday we went to National Harbor with the Kosatka crew and had dinner at McLoone's Pier for Brad's dads birthday - aka papaw Art.  Holly got a great picture of the two...love the smiles 

133. Wrapped up no daycare week with Gram

132. A day with Aunt Paige

Zander had a wonderful Thursday with Aunt Paige, Jaxton, Madden and Paige's mom Lynne.  Zander wasn't feeling great, whether it was his teeth or leftovers from shots the day before (we kicked off the day with Tylenol and that just never happens), either way I was feeling super stressed to leave him even though I knew he was in loving hands.  Aunt Paige sent me updates all day to let me know everything was good on the home front with little Wubba and his friends!  It is so wonderful to see my best friend take care of my little boy and to be totally at home in our home :)

131. 4 month appt!

Momma got to stay at home with little Z man today for his 4 month appointment.  Highlights are:

Weight 20lbs 2 oz's (off the chart = to 6mo old)

Height 28inches (off the chart = to 9mo old)

Head circumference 16 3/4 inches (60th percentile - thankfully NOT off of any chart!)

Love you little man!

130. Spending the day with Kosatka's

Daycare is closed this week!!!  Aunt Holly and the girls are helping us out and watching Zander for a couple of days!  Here are a couple of the checkin pics Holly sent yesterday :) from the treehouse & an attempt at tummy time

129. Rainy Sunday

We spent the day inside chillin.  Brad was supposed to golf, but since that was rained out, I decided he still got his "morning" so Z and I headed downstairs bright & early annnd of course they both ended up snoozing the morning away :) 

128! Happy Birthday Aliyah & Gram

My parents picked up Aliyah on Saturday and brought her to our house for a visit.  We headed over to our community pool, which we seriously had ALL to ourselves and after a little play time, we have a small birthday party complete with candles in a half eaten cookie and the birthday song.  Oh & Gram brought Z his Sophie, which he loves :) thank you!!

Oh and Zander had sweet potato for the first time.  Have to say he enjoyed it more than the cereal!

Days 123 - 127...

I slacked this week with my posts!  In an effort to get back on track, we'll do one post for Monday-Friday :)

122. 4 MONTHS!!!

Couldn't get him posed exactly how I wanted, but it's still perfection

Zander was our Roc Race DC team mascot on Saturday!  Super big thank you to daddy for making it happen :)
