173. Working from home with Z...

Zander's fever carried through the night Wednesday and he woke up feeling pretty yucky on Thursday.  We had one of those 5am wake ups where you decide it's a good idea to change a diaper in bed, in the dark, by the light of your iphone, and take a temperature, when what ends up happening are the sheets get soaked annd PJ's get soaked, so what was supposed to be a quick sleep interruption turned into changing the bed and Z PJ's.  Honestly?  I should know better by now!

All in all, I don't think we ever saw a temp over 100.6, so this was a mild one, but a fever nonetheless and that means no daycare.  Fine by me!  Would rather have mommy or daddy with our little dude when he is feeling bad anyway.  Just so happens that today was a mommy & Z day.  In between naps we hung out and momma checked & worked via her blackberry or Z would sit in my lap while I typed on the keyboard at the desk (not easy annnd probably not safe) & there were a couple of calls that all I could do was cross my fingers during - haha.  When it was nap time, it was solid work time.  All in all we did great together and managed to get some things taken care of in the process of taking care of the sick little Wubba.  Good news for Z is that by about 6pm the fever had quit rearing its head and Z was on the mend!
